I just want to inform the Norwegian law makers that Norway is an oil based economy and for now oil prices are very low but we all know sooner or later it will come up again. And you need skilled worker too of you keep making immigration requirements stricter and  stricter, it is not far that no one will prefer to migrate to Norway especially skilled workers like engineers, doctors etc. We all know that Norwegian universities itself not able to provide all required competence for these industries and must rely on the skilled worker from another country.     Norwegian government spending billions and billions of kroner on asylum and refuses who are yet to be integrated into Norwegian society. And what skilled immigrant is getting? Stricter rules for permanent residence permit and citizenship? Do you know it cost more than 3000 NOK to renew the work permit for a skilled worker and their family visa which is almost the amount than back in 2012 and still the present government is stating that by increasing time period, they can save the resources? Is it not enough that you have already increased the application fees? Madam/ Sir, I just want you to know that the skilled worked are a contributor to the Norwegian economy, not a free beneficial from the economy.  Just for info. tighter immigrations rules will make time difficult for Norwegian industries more future.   I don't have an exact number of skilled migration in Norway but you can clearly see the decline in the skilled immigration in Norway. Current oil crisis has already made skilled worker society more worried and if you impose such a stricter citizenship and permanent residency rules they are not far from leaving the Norway.    Arbeids- og inkluderingsdepartementet Til høringen Til toppen <div class="page-survey" data-page-survey="133" data-page-survey-api="/api/survey/SubmitPageSurveyAnswer" data-text-hidden-title="Tilbakemeldingsskjema" data-text-question="Fant du det du lette etter?"
