UPM supports advanced biofuel mandate Dato: 03.10.2017 Svartype: Med merknad UPM has high interest in supporting advanced biofuel mandate as we see the Norwegian biofuel market as an important market area. UPM has the possibility to supply significant amounts of advanced biofuels (renewable diesel and naphtha) to Norway. UPM is already now an important producer of current crude tall oil based advanced biofuels with the production capacity of 120 million litres/a, and aims to increase the production in the future. UPM supports the development of advanced biofuel mandate. Such a mandate sets a strong framework for investments in sustainable and innovative technologies and production facilities that will enable the advanced renewable fuels industry to move forward and to unleash its full potential.
